Factors influencing consumer acceptance of vehicle-to-grid by electric vehicle drivers in the Netherlands

The objective of this study is to identify factors that influence actual electric vehicle (EV) drivers’ acceptance Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) charging. takes a qualitative approach in order provide insight into EV users’ perceptions V2G technology and their underlying motivation accept or not V2G. Theory Planned Behaviour adopted create basic conceptual model the potential influencing Twenty semi-structured interviews are conducted among Dutch drivers, including both regular as well participants who had previously taken part projects. found be most important for fostering financial compensation, transparent communication reliable control system by user. On other hand, have negative effect on range anxiety, discomfort experienced while participating battery degradation. Our shows majority our interview albeit with some reservations caution. As EVs new technologies, sample twenty users consists early adopters. such, attitudes may reflect those future users.
